Switching Info

I have economy 10 V15 tarrif with SSE, one meter two separate readings because of the two tariffs,I cannot get a smart meter fitted because of this set up , would this be a problem for me to change to bulb.

  • HI Ally, thanks for your message. Unfortunately we do not support Economy10 setups. SSE support some very unique setups in Scotland that aren't found in the rest of the UK and make it difficult for customers to switch. If you were to switch to us it would undoubtedly be more expensive than what your currently paying. I would get SSE to change you to a single rate meter, then you can come over to us and we would eventually install your a new smart meter free of charge.
