Account in credit

My account is in credit and I am moving house to a prepay meter (have joined bulb for this too). Once my current account has been cancelled will I automatically be refunded the credit or do I have to request this?

Yes, once your old account is closed, you will be automatically refunded. The refund can take 3-10 days to work its way through the banking system and it can take 1-2 weeks for Bulb to raise a final bill for credit meters (once they’ve got the readings from the new supplier - which can take 6 weeks) - however, I’ve got no idea how this works with a pre-payment meter (if that’s the sort you already have).
