Account says i already have a smart meter when i dont


My account states i have a smart meter and you are working on being able to read it. Well i have been at this property two years and i know there is no smart meter. I read and input meter readings manually.

Can you please address this as i have tried a few times to do this over the last year with no luck. If i could i would move provider just to get a smart meter.

Older smart meters become dumb when changed to another supplier, and need a software upgrade before they become smart again. The companies are working on this, but many smart meters have not yet been upgraded.

I suspect this is your situation.
