As i am well over £100 in creditwhy do i have to increase my payments
If you are maintaining 1 months advance payment then you can adjust your dd by going to your Bulb account.
I had the email this morning saying they '‘need to’ increase my payments but I was able to change the DD amount back to what it was before without fuss. My plan was to maintain the monthly payment at a set amount (an amount suggested by them) and top-up when needed, and it looks like the system does allow this. They do say, in the email, that you are always in control and I think they mean it. They would cause less panic in their customers, though, if they avoided phrases like ‘need to’ which suggest the opposite.
