Big bill from old supplier despite switching to Bulb in October


I moved in to my current flat in September last year. I switched to bulb and started making payments in October. I recently paid off £67 to SSE (old supplier) and assumed that was that.

However I just received a gas bill of £336 from SSE through the post. Why have SSE sent me this bill and what can I do about it? I have been paying Bulb regularly so surely this is a mistake?

I’m unclear how any of us fellow customers would know why SSE have sent you a bill for £336. Have you contacted them?

The bill itself should provide some information relating to dates and meter readings and give you some clues as to why it was issued?
