Massive increase of 50% to my bill after about six months.
Supposed to be around £150 / month and has been increased to £250 this month, have NEVER paid so much!

I guess you haven’t been following the multitude of threads on this forum regarding this issue?

  1. Have you been submitting monthly meter readings to Bulb when requested so that you get accurate statements?

  2. Do you have sufficiency credit in your account to pay one month in advance for your energy.

If the answer to 1. & 2. is YES then leave you DD at £150 per month.

I can see that we had not received a meter reading from you in 10 months. When we don’t receive meter readings, we have to estimates. These are not always spot on. When you updated us, we found that your usage was higher than the estimates.

If you’re on top of your payments and know that what you’re paying will cover what you use longer term, you can change both the amount and the date at any time in your online Bulb Account
