My monthly cost seems to have doubled since joining is this normal?
I have not changed my direct debit yet but this seems extreme!

Sorry your post has been missed until now - this community forum can get busy sometimes!

Have you been providing recent meter readings? If you have and Bulb only has had estimated readings now/previously to work from, then the amounts billed will have been incorrect and things have probably just ‘caught up’.

Bulb will be increasing their prices on the 11th of November for customers who were signed up before 10th September (customers who signed up after that date will already be on the higher tariff) and they did increase on the 12th of August ( ) [in June 2017, they did actually drop their prices for the second time that year - ], but I can’t see that would hae doubled your bill.
