Can’t submit electric reading

Hi, I am now unable to submit an electric meter reading because they say they know my readings. I don’t have a smart meter, so how do they know my readings?

I believe you’ve already spoken to my colleague on the online chat about this, but you do indeed have a 1st gen smart meter, which would have been installed by a previous supplier. The small device (an In-Home Display) that shows your smart meter usage may not be plugged in, but the actual electricity meter on the wall is the actual smart meter, and it sends the readings straight over to us regularly.
