Confusing numbers on statement and smart meter not working

After engineer installed my smart meter only electricity usage shows on the screen, gas doesn’t work but engineer spent time setting it up.

After installing that meter my gas bills went trough the roof!
Last year I paid 300ish from April till December this year my bill says 400 from April to may !!!
