Direct Debit Cancellation

I cancelled joining Bulb two days ago, and received an email which stated
“We’re sorry you don’t want to join Bulb, but thanks for letting us know. We’ve cancelled your switch and you’ll stay with your current supplier”
I cancelled joining Bulb after only a few hours of joining Bulb.
What happens regarding the Direct Debit? ie, Is the Direct Debit halted automatically by Bulb? or do I need to contact my Bank?
