I changed the date of our direct debit from the 7th to the 28th of each month on Friday 3rd May but our bank has still sent a message saying your direct debit for Bulb is out for tomorrow. . . Is this an error from the bank or bulb?
It’s not an error at either end. Direct debits take about a week to setup. There was not enough time from the 3rd to change it to the 7th, particularly so with the bank holiday. So the change wont take effect until 28th May. You’ll find there will now be two payments taken in May.
