Do you have to change to Smart Meters?

We have no desire to do so (unless it is forced in the future of course). When Bulb roll out their versions, can we stick with the old style meters we have instead of accepting the new Smart Meters?

I have no desire for an allegedly ‘smart’ meter either.
Bulb are rolling out their smart meters from around now, but have assured customers that there is no obligation or pressure to have one.

You don’t have to have one fitted, please see the official OFGEM information: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/consumers/household-gas-and-electricity-guide/understand-smart-prepayment-and-other-energy-meters/smart-meters-your-rights

Thank you so much for your response, that puts my mind at rest.
