Does anything work?

I’ve had my latest bills on August 19th and 23rd Sept and both based on a estimated reading, what’s the point of a smart meter. Add to this the meter turned Welsh last month and is only showing gas usage despite turning off and on several times.

What can I do other than leave- Not happy at all, sick of emailing - no response

Smart meters appear to be a major issue with most utility companies at the moment.
