How is this month’s 10% hike in the Energy Price Cap going to affect us bulb punters? (Or has this been asked before?)
The price cap is essentially to curb the excesses of the Big 6, who’ve been milking it from customers on their default Standard Variable Tariff.
Bulb’s customers on the competitive Vari-Fair tariff are unaffected.

Given the Bulb tariff is already below the cap, what effect would you expect an increase in the cap to have?
Hint: There is none.
Our tariff won’t be affected by the recent price cap announcements.
Wholesale prices have been decreasing lately so unless something very unexpected happens, there won’t be a price rise anytime soon.
(…) something very unexpected (…)
Hm, I wonder how that works…? :#
Unexpected! Not expected :#
Spoilsport - you edited your post… I like things that are very expected. Sounds highly reassuring.
