Estimate much higher than actual

I checked my gas metre a week after bulb had estimated a usage and it was much lower than the estimation. I tried recording this but nothing has appeared. How do we move forward?


Hey @DanAiken , thanks for getting in touch. We received your gas reading of 820 m3 yesterday. Gas readings take a little longer than electricity readings to load on our system. This is because they need to be validated. So it’s normal for it to take 2-3 days for your reading to actually appear.

I’d recommend submitting a reading around the 16th of each month to get the most accurate statements. That would mean we wouldn’t estimate any usage when we generate your statement on the 20th.
