estimated bill on smart meter?

Hi, I’m confused, just got my bill and it say’s its estimated. I was under the impression that as I have a smart meter, no meter reading submission button on my dashboard, I would be getting accurate figures for my monthly billing. Any thoughts please

It may be that the smart meter you have is not compatible with Bulb and therefore you would need to submit manual readings until such time that Bulb upgrade the older meters.

Even if the smart meter from your previous supplier is compatible with Bulb, they will not yet have started reading it. Your meter is automatically in “dumb mode” meaning you need to submit meter readings. The issue of switching suppliers with old SMETS1 smart meters has been well publicised in the media.

If you don’t have the “submit reading” button on your account dashboard, you need to contact Bulb to investigate the configuration error.
