estimated readings

Hi everyone, each time I submit my gas meter reading I get a message saying “this is not what we were expecting, please send a photo of the meter” I have done this every time and I get a message saying “thank you for submitting your gas meter reading” but they never use it and estimate my usage instead, the electricity readings that I submit are used. Anyone got any idea’s why they are doing this? Thanks.

They are doing it because the reading is not what they expected. i.e., the value is outside the limits of the expected value. There are several reasons for why estimates can be a long way off, but discussing them here wont help very much. You need to contact Bulb directly and explain the ongoing problem.
