I’m a trustee with a small charity, and have picked up some work on their procurement. Unfortunately, a member of staff has signed up to a long term contract with Npower that is really uncompetitively priced. When I raise this with Npower they say there is nothing they can do, and I am locked in until the end of 2021. Does anyone have any experience of commercial contracts? Is there anything I can do to get out of this contract? It is a such a shame as the charity is in no position to be spending large amounts of money on this.

This is my opinion, however for domestic customers bulb actually pay early exit fees. If this is the case for buisness it can be beneficial for you.
However the charity does require the cash upfront to pay the exit fee and then bulb could reimburse it.
