Final Bill from previous supplier

I don’t have my final bill from my previous supplier. When I asked them they said they had not received the final reading from yourselves. I gave you this on the 3rd November.

When you leave any of the utility companies the readings you pass to your new supplier will have to be verified by a 3rd party this is then passed back and forth. The process can take up to 6 weeks. Only when this comes back to your old supplier do they issue your final statement and process any monies due to you.

Generally this process will be completed within the 6 weeks, if however there are any disputes (generally not) over the readings it can take longer and you should at this point contact your new supplier.

It can take up to six weeks for the meter readings to progress to the previous supplier, via a third party regulator. Your previous supplier should be getting them any time around this week.
