Gas Account Separate from Electricity Account

Switched to Bulb for both gas and electricity, however because we were previously on a prepayment meter and with different suppliers for gas and electricity, turns out the process isn’t as smooth as first advertised…

Electricity meter switched over to credit mode as expected, however the gas meter didn’t, and after a rather convoluted phone call, we discovered that the gas would still need to be topped up using a prepayment card, until ‘sometime in the first quarter’ of 2020 when we can apply to get a 2nd generation smart meter installed.

So my problem is this - since my account has been ‘split’ into two separate ‘accounts’, one credit and one prepay, I cannot seem to add an electricity meter reading to my account, I click on the link and the site just bounces back to the main account dashboard. My previous opening electricity meter reading has also seemingly disappeared…

So much for it being ‘simple’ to switch…
