Gas meter won’t do anything it just says it’s failed I can’t get hold of anyone to help please can anyone assist

Yes It won’t register anything just stays with fail on screen
It’s so frustrating there is no one to actually contact out of hours with bulb

Mine says fail but reading that it is possible the battery has failed
