Gas Meter taken

Hi I’ve come home and my meter has gone, so I called the police, logged it and then called emergency services British gas!
They have been out and informed me that this has been professionally removed, and this would be the responsibility of bulb?
I have had nothing through my door to advise that the meter has been removed.
So my question is, where is my meter as I have no hot water or heating!
I have also messaged on the chat 4 times with our response and dropped emails, I’m yet to get any kind of response.

Given the urgency of the situation I’d have thought phoning would be more appropriate? You’ll hold for ages but at least you’ll get a realtime response eventually.
