Getting a refund for the credit in my account

Hi there @Shawnbrophy we can indeed refund some of the credit in your account, down to a minimum of one month’s worth of credit in your account (though we’d recommend keeping a little more, about one and a half month’s worth). We’ll also need to make sure we have some recent meter readings, to make sure that the amount of credit in your account is actually accurate. However, we can’t really do refunds through this public forum, as I’d rather not talk specifics about money where everyone can see it. Good morning, can you please refund anything over one month’s worth of credit from my account? I am looking to increase my monthly payment anyway throughout the winter months. Thanks Amy.

And can you please tell me why when my energy has consistently been £26-£27 per month you have calculated my average cost at £40.50 per month? I would like my credit refunded based on my actual usage rather than my ‘average usage’ that is incorrect.

@AMYLEIGH1987 What I suspect might be the problem is your Estimated Annual consumption that we received.

Basically EACs are based on historical usage at the property, and they come through from a third party. Sometimes they are out of date and a bit wrong.

There is probably a difference between your actual usage and the historical usage.

The good news is the EAC will get adjusted if you submit regular meter readings.
