Getting double charged

When I moved in I switched to bulb. However the existing company thinks I owe then money. They have also said that the database doesn’t show that I am paying. How do I rectify this?

@Shortstuff, give Bulb a ring and see if they can contact your previous company directly to confirm the date of your switch and the meter reading.

You will owe the previous company for at least 21 days of energy though while you were waiting for the Bulb switch after moving in.

If it’s Scottish Power who think you owe money, I wish you luck. It took almost 18 months for them to stop trying to charge me (and trying to send the debt collectors).
