Getting my new bulb card credited

Hi I had £31.56 on my old EDF prepayment key which hasn’t transferred onto my new Bulb prepayment key - how can I get the £31.56 back

Hi @liverpoolfox70 - I haven’t got any experience of the prepayment key/card system so I can’t be entirely sure of this, but I believe that since you paid EDF you’ll need to contact them to get them to refund you the money (see https://www.edfenergy.com/for-home/help-support/unclaimed-credit for the ‘Closed account refund form’). You might be able to continue using the EDF key on the meter until the funds run out, but I’m really uncertain about this.

There was a posting about this not so long, I can’t find it but I thought the short answer was that you can use up the the balance on the card before using inserting the Bulb card. You possibly may be able to find the correspondence by carrying out a search of the forum?

Thanks for your help however I wish this was made clear on the letter that arrived with the key. Very poor customer advice or guidance from Bulb - this should have been on the letter.
