How do i cancel my switch to bulb?

Hi, I need to cancel my switch to bulb as the previous tenants installed a prepayment meter so am having to sort out something with the old supplier to get the meter changed back to a normal electricity meter and they wont be able to do it by the time my tariff starts with bulb. is it possible to postpone it and change it to a date next month? or would it just need to be cancelled then re done?
