How do I read meter dial electricity
A few tips and tricks for reading your dial meter:
If the pointer is between two numbers, always take the lower number
If the pointer is directly over a number, check the dial on the right to determine whether to use this number or the one before it. If the next dial is near the 9 then use the lower number but, if the dial is closer to 1 then use the higher number.
I often find it worth writing down the numbers starting on the right and then working left. This means that if I come across a 9 I know that I’ll need to use the lower number on the next dial to the left.
