I have been receiving bills from old provider and Bulb


I have been receiving bills from my old provider(Npower) and from Bulb for the same month. Can you please explain why this is happening?

At Bulb, we take payment in advance for the month ahead. So the first payment is taken on the day you switch. This lets us buy energy in advance, saving you money.

Your old supplier might have taken payment after you’d used your energy. So when you switched, you may have received two statements. One for the month ahead with us, and a bill for the month just passed with your old supplier.

The important thing is you never pay for the same energy twice. We agree on your meter readings with your old supplier. And use these to make sure you only pay once for each unit of energy.
