I have left Bulb but you keep taking payments from me

Help, i have left bulb and was advised to continue with the direct debit to enable you to pay back monies owed to me from my final payment. You have now taken an additional payment from me.
How do i get my money back and stop you from taking payments from me?

Have you had a final statement yet?

It’s unfortunately quite common across all suppliers for at least one payment to still be claimed after a switch (I had it happen to me when moving to Bulb - and then the supplier I had left went bust, so it was quite some time before I got my money back!), just because the process of finalising bills and closing accounts isn’t very efficient (because both suppliers are involved).

It looks like had some trouble with the information that we got through from your new supplier, but I have fixed this and issued you your final statement. We won’t take any further payments, and any credit on your account will be issued back to you via Direct Debit in the next two weeks. Let me know if you have any further questions :speaking_head:
