IHD 6 - No zigbee connection to smart meter from IHD


unfortunately I’m a new smart meter customer, using IHD6 and economy 7.

Since the meter was installed, the IHD has NEVER connected to my smart meter. I’ve asked multiple times online for the connection to be reset, but as far as I know, this has never been done.

Is this something we can do ourselves?

Both WAN and HAN flash green.

IHD info shows: IHD6-CAD-PPMID 1.4 CAD 1.9

its connected to our homes WIFI network.

None of the information options work, pressing contact button, see: Waiting for contact.

Time is reported, but that’s it.

Fortunately we don’t have gas here, just electricity.

How do I get my IHD to connect to my smart meter?


Connection with the meters can only be done by authorized users, I believe. WiFi connection, where an existing device is acting as a bridge, can be done by anyone but might need a special code from the supplier (e.g. for Samsung SmartThings)
