Incorrect meter readings

I’ve just tried to update my meter readings and have been told the electricity reading is lower than my previous one. The previous one had obviously been input wrong in error. What do I do?

Hi @Hanslern, the fastest way to get this resolved would be to give Bulb a ring tomorrow (0300 30 30 635).

Just a note on this one @mowcius the note is only advisory, so just submit them if you’re certain they’re correct. It comes in handy when there is a typo!

Do you then calculate negative usage on statements if the last reading was significantly off?

@mowcius Yeah precisely, it’s never too far off so the reading at the end of the next month may leave the statement to still show an overall reduction in the account balance.
