Is something going on with Bulb? They just don't reply!

Hi there,

After receiving generally great service from Bulb via email and Live Chat, I am disappointed that I haven’t had a response to my emails, and today thought I would give Live Chat a go - it’s been over an hour but there’s a cheery message saying that they typically respond within 10 minutes. That’s just irritating.

Are there any known issues with their email or chat service?

Yes. To summarise - understaffed and overwhelmed with smart meter problems.

They’ve taken on lots more staff to try to clear the backlog, but anecdotally from posts on here it would appear they aren’t well trained and often don’t know what they’re talking about. Hopefully things might start to improve over the next few weeks.
