Is this our new world?

Customer service is terrible these days.

In virtually all settings (utilities, banks, insurance, everything) the level of customer service is just terrible - slow and inaccurate. Is it just me who feels like that or do others think the same?

Is this what runaway, unregulated capitalism looks like? Every penny squeezed out by shareholders until it’s just a shell of a company, making only small token efforts to actually have morals and be good?
