Sorry to hear you are leaving Bulb - according to https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/360016075911-How-do-I-leave-Bulb- , it can (like switching to or from any supplier) take up to 6 weeks for the new meter readings to reach your old supplier (Bulb) and for the closing bill to be produced and the refund issued (in theory, the refund could be as quick as 24 days from the moment you sign up to the new supplier, but that involves everybody being ‘on the ball’, weekend timings being ‘just right’ and the ‘independent third party meter reading verification company’ [who coordinates opening/closing reads between suppliers] being quick - and most the time they aren’t!).
Thanks for the response. I have provided the same readings to both suppliers so hopefully won’t be too long. I assume it’s all automated and I need not do anything?

That’s correct - it’s all automated and you shouldn’t need to do anything. However, the ‘third party’ who validates the meter readings can sometimes have problems so if things aren’t sorted in 5-6 weeks (i.e. you haven’t had your final Bulb bill by then), just drop Bulb an email ( https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/115001240291-How-can-I-get-in-touch-with-Bulb- ) or your new supplier to get them to pester things (they may be entirely unaware the 3rd party has failed to do their job).
