Meter Fault

We transferred to Bulb at the beginning of June and had no problems with it except from our former supplier Solarplicity. Solarplicity put a new gas and electric meter in and we have just come back from a weekend away to discover a VERY loud high pitched whine sound which appears to be coming from both units. We still have supply coming through ok but have never experienced this before. Can you help please.
