Please be aware this is an open forum and many can see your information. so I would recommend you don’t post any personal details.

If you have switched to Bulb then it is Bulb who would supply readings to EON and not EON to Bulb. There is a validation process so that Bulb and EON agree on the initial reading.

Bulb would automatically use kWh to arrive at the cost of your bill. They would subtract your initial meter reading (I assume it was 17414 given at the time of your switch) from for example your current reading of 17477, i.e a difference of 63. This reading is then used to calculate the equivalent kWh by using certain factors in the calculation, more information is at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/gas-meter-readings-and-bill-calculation.

@Kathy_Ian40

We need the readings from your gas meter in m3 and not kWh as we do the conversions at our end based on daily figures of the calorific value of the gas.

Here is a guide which may help you read the meters if you need to find how to get the m3 reading https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/115001232832-How-do-I-read-my-meter-
