Meter reading to previous supplier

Hello I’m waiting for my old supplier to credit me the money I’m owed , they are saying they are waiting for you to give them the readings before they can process it . Could you let me know how long it will take , I thought that bulb , payed off any monies outstanding to previous supplier , I’m told I’m in credit with them , a little bit lost as to where we are upto , thank u in advance

Purely as another customer, it takes a while for the readings which you supplied to Bulb a couple of days before your switch to reach your previous supplier. It has to go a verification process by a third party to make sure both Bulb and your previous supplier use the same readings for closing and opening the respective accounts. @Emily1210 I have just spoken with EDF and for some reason they were disputing the reading. They have now closed down the dispute and then you should be getting a bill shortly.
