My previous supplier, EDF Energy have stated they are still awaiting confirmation of electricity readings from you and therefore my account with them is still open. Readings were provided to you on 26 August 2017. Please can you let me know why this information has not been forwarded to EDF Energy in order that my account with them can be closed?

I can confirm that we have sent your meter readings off to EDF. It can take up to 6 weeks after your switch date for your old supplier to receive and process those readings and issue your final bill. If you haven’t received your final bill a week or two into October, please get in touch again and we will chase it up with EDF.
