Moving house

My current tenancy ends on 21/10/2018. I am already living is a new house that I bought recently. Can I transfer my current bulb subscription to my new house when my tenancy ends?

When you are ready to move out, login to your Bulb account at https://account.bulb.co.uk (or click ‘Sign in’ in the top right) and just click the ‘Moving Home’ button (shown with a picture of a lorry) on the main page next to your address. I believe it’ll ask for the date you are moving out and meter readings (it’ll be best to take a photograph of the meter readings in case they are needed later - for example, the new tenants disputing readings etc).

For your new property, just signup as a new customer on the main Bulb website using the same email address and password and your account(s) will be automatically linked.

My girlfriend and I are moving into a new apartment soon for a short lease. Unfortunately, it looks as though we won’t be able to take Bulb with us for reasons outside our control.

I was wondering if I cancel my account will I be able to reactivate it in 6 months time and still retain any outstanding Credit? I referred two friends but their completion date is after our move out date.

@niall1987 The old account will be refunded to you and then when you move into a new place a brand new account will be started, unfortunately we can’t hold onto the money until that point.
