I seem to have close my current account and then sign up with a whole new account for my new property. Seems a bit daft also I am not currently living in my new property so do not want to start “the switch” yet. Is there anyway I don’t have to close my account but transfer it to the new pro when I move in?

The supply is for the property not the person and therefore it seems totally appropriate you need to set up a new account at your new property.

Not sure if this applies to other energy suppliers?
