MSE cashback question

I switched to Bulb from EDF in April through the MoneySuperMarket energy club website but never received the cashback that MSE offered for switching with them so i contacted MSE and received the following reply…

“Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear that your supplier appears to have provided us with incorrect details following your switch. It told us your application to it wasn’t sucessfully and as a result, we never paid you your cashback.”

Could anyone at Bulb tell me why this as happened ?

Correction - The switch was through the MoneySavingExpert energy club but the reply i received back states that the cashback goes through MoneySuperMarket

Hi @Damo I have now contacted MoneySuperMarket to let them know that your switch was successful and that they should apply your cashback
