My gas meter is not working when I put my top up card inside it just comes up with seek help

I have both gas and electricity with Bulb. I joined the company a few months ago and I am very happy with the service.
I have just one problem I need an engineer to come and have a look at the gas meter as I keep getting this message to seek help from the gas meter and therefore I cannot top up. Can you please kindly advise what I can do regarding this issue that I am having as a matter opf urgency.
