My smart meter can see into the future!

A few days ago I checked my app and saw that my gas meter had submitted a reading for gas dated 1st September! Now I know the meter is smart, but that’s really clever!
Oh, and one day it said our usage was £100,000,000 and now it’s in Welsh.
Absolute joke.
Anyone else had issues with the meter predicting readings?

It’s nearly the middle of September and you’re suggesting that a blog post from early July might have new information?

Quite. It is nothing to do with the in home display (which is rubbish - we’ve had Welsh, and regularly lose all display information and the ambient lights go on and off of their own accord).

This is more the fact that on 28th August my account was showing a gas smart meter reading from 1st September, and this has never changed. I hadn’t checked my account in the app for a while so I don’t know when the 1st September reading was submitted but it could have been days earlier!

Oh, and for reasons I cannot fathom, the electricity reading from 1st September is an estimate!
