new account

Hi Iam a new bulb account holder first payment has been taking form my account , but why am i still receiving bills from my old swalec account.

Please advise

Hi @Jonesc6, your final meter readings to your old supplier go via a third party for checking and it can then take a few weeks for them to issue your final bill.

Hi @Jonesc6 Looking at your account I can see we sent your readings over on your supply date, but you should have received a final bill by now. I gave your previous supplier a quick call who say they’ve already sent you a final bill and closed your account. If you have got some incorrect bills I would contact your previous supplier because it sounds like they’ve closed your account so you shouldn’t be sent any more bills.
