New Smart Meter but no automatic reading

I had the latest generation 2 smart meter installed in Aug. The meter knows I am with Bulb, my tariff etc BUT I am still been asked to enter meter readings manually by Bulb. As its a new meter the reading is much lower than my old meter reading so the system does not like this. Very unimpressed that they have gone to all this expense of a new meter and I effectively still have a dumb meter. When will you be able to read my meter automatically?

They sent out an email recently saying these problems would be solved sometime in 2020.
