Not being able to alter my DD amount

In the update account page i have been trying to update my DD to increase the amount to cover the increase in gas/electricity cost. I have entered an amount above the minimum required, when i try to set up this amount all i get is a message saying please try later. This happens every time i try and the amount returns to the old amount. I do top up my account to keep it in credit but it would be a lot easier if the DD covered it
Any advice would be appreciated

I wouldn’t be able to say why this higher payment amount is not being accepted, it sounds like it might be an issue with our online account system. If you could drop us an email at help@bulb.co.uk and let us know what you wanted to set your payments to, we can get that amended right away for you.
