For a SMETS2 meter its ABAB and for a SMETS1 meter it is AABB.
You have a SMETS2 meter so try ABAB.

i have tried all sorts of combinations.
Nothing seems to happen at all.
I was told to prsss AandB and hold for 10 seconds.
There any display indication of a repeat?
Ocatialy I have had the display light up every display segment for around 10 seconds then goes back to normal

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Have you had any luck with resetting the meter?
What are you trying to accomplish by resetting the meter? And when you say it lights up for 10 seconds on each screen, is this to check the meter readings?

Basically, the meter is not communicating with the network.
I believe the Wan led should just flash occasionally.
It is flashing 2/second.
Bub support indicated pressing and holding A&B buttons at the same time for 10 seconds would “power cycle” the meter.

I can see a communications hub reboot was requested on the 3rd November. This usually helps re-establish the connection. As you live south of Manchester, the reboot will be complete in 2-3 weeks. Once we’ve got an outcome we’ll be in touch
