Didnt realise the unit rares for both gas and electric had gone up especially electric and stand in charges gone up a fair percentage to. Good job im on universal credit now cant afford to eat so wont need the gas .
Thanks for posting in community. I am really sorry about our recent price increase. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly but can completely understand your concerns.
I have had a look in your account and can see that you are in credit, with very regular meter readings. Even though the prices are increasing, I’d suggest lowering your payment by a few pounds to use up a bit of the credit in your account.
We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Wholesale costs are now 31% higher than they were in September, when we last changed our prices.
