Reading the meters

I am unable to take any readings. My British Gas smart meter doesn’t work with you and the original meters appear to have been disabled.
Can you advise how to restart the original meters?

They generally just need a bit of button pushing! Be sure to take the readings from the actual meters attached to the wall, rather than the in home display, to ensure the readings are accurate.
