Reinstate gas connection

Hi,
I’m currently connected only to electricity and I am looking to install a combi boiler, therefore I will need to have a gas connection as well.
There was previously a gas connection but it was decommissioned, at the front door there is the gas pipe coming from the mains and also the pipe going inside, only there is no meter.
I was advised to get in touch with my supplier and ask for a meter to be installed and here I am getting in touch… was not able to find a phone number to talk to anyone at bulb.
